Stir is a brand-new reading series in SoMa West (@somawestcbd ), hosted by Cafe Suspiro (@cafesuspirosf ) at Arc Gallery (@arcgallerysf ) on Folsom Street, starting July 10. Stop by Cafe Suspiro from 5-6 for coffee and vibes, and then join the hosts and five local authors at Arc Gallery next door from 6pm to 8pm. Stir is a seasonal event, with four readings per year: Foggy Season, Fire Season, Flower Season, and Rainy Season. For the Foggy Season launch, the lineup includes Josh Fernandez (@_3_arrows ), Audrey T. Williams (@audthentic_stories ), K. M. Soehnlein (@kmsoehnlein ), Lehua Taitano (@lehua_m._taitano ) and Lauren C. Johnson (@laurenc.johnson). The hosts are Josh Wilson, editor of @fabulistmag , and T. K. Rex (@tharkibo ), author of the forthcoming collection, The Wildcraft Drones. Cafe Suspiro has served up locally-roasted coffee, books and records from the garage of Arc Gallery at 1246 Folsom Street since 2022.
